Mario Kart – Bowser’s Challenge

This is Mario Kart – Bowser’s Challenge, the centerpiece attraction at Super Nintendo World, which opened in March 2021! Inside the mighty Koopa Castle, you get to experience the Mario Kart world for yourself!When you enter Bowser Castle, you will see a large statue of Bowser! The statue is so large and powerful that a photograph cannot do it justice, and it is so detailed that it is truly a sight to behold. I usually see Bowser onscreen when I’m gaming, but I was really impressed by how realistic the statue is.Inside Bowser Castle, you’ll find all of Mario’s enemies! I was very satisfied just walking around, because even before reaching the attraction, I was able to enjoy the Mario world to the fullest. Minion Hachamecha Ride

Here it comes! Everyone loves Minion Park! The town is very cute with its colorful, pop-colored Minion-like atmosphere. In fact, this Minion Park is the largest of its kind in the world. You just have to go!Let’s get started with the Minions Hachamecha Ride! As the name suggests, the ride takes you on a ride through the Minions crazy antics. The giant dome screen shows the real world of the Minions in 3D, and it looks as if you have really entered the crazy world of the Minions!

In Gru’s laboratory, where the story takes place, there is a special vehicle invented by Gru. Once you get into the Vehicle, you will start an outlandish training to become a minion. You can run around the lab at a dizzying pace with the cute Minions and Gru’s three daughters, fly with all your might, or go headlong to the ends of the earth…you will experience the crazy world of the Minions as you have seen it in the movies! Laughing, by the way, the bond between the Minions, Gru and the three sisters is undeniably touching at times. You will be able to fully enjoy the free-spirited, lovable, and righteous cuteness of the Minions!

JAWS

Jaws is a classic Universal Studios Japan attraction that can be enjoyed by men and women of all ages. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful boat tour of the fishing village of Amity Village, as seen in the movie Jaws.The boat is always equipped with a rifle in case of emergency. Now you can enjoy the tour with peace of mind! How carefree I was enjoying the tour…“Gah 〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜!!!!” (I was so surprised that I was out of frame. (Laughing) The shark was unexpectedly big and very scary. Well, that was fun!

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey

Next stop! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Hogsmeade Village, where the wizards live, is like stepping into the world of the movies. The area is on a grand scale, but every detail has been recreated so Harry Potter fans will enjoy to the fullest.There is also a life-size Hogwarts Express. Be sure to get your picture taken here!As you make your way through Hogsmeade Village, you’ll be treated to a performance by the students of the School of Magic! Harry Potter is all about butterbeer. Do you remember the scene where Hermione gets a foam mustache from the bubbles of butterbeer? It’s so cute, isn’t it?So, we tried it too! It was our first try, so I think our beards are a little thin. But it was a lot of fun! By the way, the butterbeer tastes like nothing in the human world. But it was my favorite sweet drink, so I was able to drink the entire mug full of it with plenty of time to spare. It is non-alcoholic and can be enjoyed by children, so if you haven’t experienced it yet, you should definitely try it!

Sold at: Three Broomsticks, Magic Neap CartAnd what a surprise! As many of you know, Hogwarts Castle seen from the terrace of the restaurant The Three Broomsticks is reflected on the water. It’s so beautiful… be sure to take a picture of it when you come to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!Since we are here, let’s take a commemorative photo in front of Hogwarts Castle! By the way, you can take a good picture of Hogwarts Castle from where the writer above is standing. After you proceed through Hogwarts Castle, you will find “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey”.

This is a spectacular ride that has won the honor of being the No. 1 ride in the world for the past five consecutive years. Hermione douses you in Floo Powder and shouts “Observatory,” and you are instantly transported into the world of Harry Potter! The dragon flames dance, the dementors’ cold air blows, and you can feel the wizarding world with your whole body in this breathtaking attraction.

Hollywood Dream – The Ride

Here’s another must-experience attraction, Hollywood Dream the Ride! Actually, this is not just a roller coaster. You can enjoy the ride while listening to your favorite background music! I always choose Dreams Come True’s “Osaka Lover – special edition for USJ”. Whenever I hear this song, I get excited that I’m at Universal Studios Japan!Hollywood Dream the Ride is an exhilarating coaster that makes you feel as if you are flying through the air. The coaster also has a popular “Hollywood Dream the Ride – Backdrop” that goes backward, so be sure to try it! It will open up a different world from the forward-facing coaster.

Jurassic Park – The Ride

And here is another classic, Jurassic Park The Ride. This tour to explore the world of dinosaurs is a thrill and will make you scream for sure!BASHANG!!!!!!! With a spectacular splash, the flying car plummets 25.9 meters to escape the ferocious dinosaurs.I got soaked, but it was so much fun!!!! I think you should wear a poncho. LOL!

The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman 4K3D

The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man the Ride 4K3D” is another firm favorite. You and Spider-Man ride through the streets of New York City in all directions. This has always been one of my favorite attractions, but no matter how many times I ride it, I always get so excited! And, it’s been voted the best ride in the world for seven years in a row! It is a thrilling attraction that is sure to make you scream out loud.

Waterworld

Last but not least, Water World! This one has a time schedule, so be sure to check the show time. I was excited even before the show started because of the powerful stage! The set was so authentic that I felt like I was really in the movie. I’ve seen the Water World show many times since I was a kid, but every time I see it, I never get tired of discovering something new! That’s the proof that it’s been loved for many years…I recommend it because you can see so many people in one show.During the show, you can also sit on a chair with a sticker on it to make sure you keep your social distance. By the way, the famous booing has taken on a slightly different form than usual! You can experience a new way to enjoy the show during the pandemic!The water bike chases, acrobatic stunts, and the all-new sound system were all powerful! It was a thrilling and breathtaking show experience. If you haven’t seen the powerful Waterworld yet, you definitely need to do so at least once!

Dress up with your friends!

If you’re going to Universal Studios Japan, you should dress up as yourself! I’ve never really tried out a costume before, but… it’s so much fun! Not only can you buy catsuits, but now you can also buy masks so you can really transform into your favorite characters!Matching the color scheme of your entire body is also recommended! By the way, I (on the left in the photo) tried to be Tim, the stuffed bear that Bob the Minion has. Writer Aru (right in photo) is Snoopy! You can create a full-fledged impersonation just by matching the colors of your clothes a little bit, so please give it a try!

Take a picture at the photo spot!

When you come to Universal Studios Japan, find a photo spot and take lots of pictures! Everywhere in the park is picturesque, so find your own special photo spot! Of course, I also suggest you look for them on Instagram!

I personally highly recommend the Universal Studios Japan eco-bag! Actually, this is my personal item that I have been using nonstop since I bought it about two years ago.The Minions shopping bag comes in a Bob and Tim pouch. These shopping bags have plenty of gussets and zippers, so even a quick shopping spree won’t be a problem! They are so cute that I carry them in my bag every day.
