【Guide by photo】The nearest station to the Dotonbori Glico sign and how to get there.

When I walk around Namba and Shinsaibashi on a holiday, A lot of people asked, “Where is the signboard of Glico?”
Although it is one of the tourist attractions in Osaka, there are many people who get lost in getting to the sign of Glico.
So, this time, I will explain the nearest station and how to go to Glico Signboard in Dotonbori ebisubashi Bridge.
As there are photos and explanations in an easy-to-understand manner, tourists who come to Osaka should try for reference.

1.Where is the location of the Glico signboard?

Address:Dotonbori 1-chome 10, Chuo-ku, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture
Dotonbori Glico Sign

It is here when you search in Google map.It located between Namba station and Shinsaibashi station. It’s near Namba.

2.The nearest station to Glico Signboard?

The nearest station is Osaka Metro Midosuji Line Namba Station. (Red is a mark)

The nearest exit is Exit 14 and Exit 15B. You can go on the Sennichimae Line and Yotsubashi Line, but the Midosuji Line is the closest to glico(Exits 14 and 15B).

In Namba, please be aware that there are several lines such as Osaka Metro (Subway), Kintetsu-Hanshin Line, Nankai Line, and JR Line.

If you are going to a signboard of Glico by changing from the Nankai Line or JR, it is recommended that you proceed first to the Midosuji Line Namba Station. Red is the mark.

By the way, it is OK even if you go from Shinsaibashi Station because it is close from Shinsaibashi Station. The nearest exit is Exit 4B. (※As of December 2018)
Exit 5 is near, but the exit is closed because the Daimaru Shinsaibashi store is under renovation, so exit 4B is the closest.

4.Remarks

The signboard of Glico Osaka is closest to Namba Station, but Namba Station has multiple routes, and there are many shops in the station, and it may feel like a maze for those who can come for the first time not. I think it is easy to understand if you get lost and remember the Midosuji Line, Exit 14. It is very easy to go because it only goes straight from Shinsaibashi Station or from the station exit. Please enjoy the signboard of Osaka’s tourist attraction, Glico.
